Health Benefits:

Second Tsigjong – Shaking

The Second Tsigjong has three phases: first, we shake only the hands, then the feet, then hands and feet together.

Health Benefits:

Third Tsigjong – Pulling

The Third Tsigjong, Pulling, has two phases. In the first phase, we focus mostly on loosening the joints of one leg, then the other, with women and men starting on opposite sides. The second phase is done in the same way by both genders, but takes some practice because it involves balancing on the buttocks.

Rhythmic Breathing – A Pranayama for Harmonic Balance:

Rhythmic Breathing is a pranayama that effectively trains us to coordinate and improve the individual phases of the process of breathing. The balanced ratio between inhalation, open hold, and exhalation, followed by an empty hold, helps expand our breathing capacity while making our respiration calmer and more complete, allowing us to train to breathe in a conscious, continuous, uninterrupted, and natural flow. Beyond learning to breathe in a deeper and calmer way, it is important to train the flexibility of our breathing so we can gain the capacity to breathe in different ways and lengths with the same command and ease.
